Celebrate Earth Day by helping us plant various fruits and vegetables in preparation for our summer & fall garden, plus get a chance to show us your artistic skills. Learn how to identify different types of fruits & vegetables plants along with how to transplant them. The market is located in the back parking lot of Country Club Mall, off of Watt Ave & El Camino Ave. There is ample parking around the market, and the closest restrooms are inside Country Club Mall itself and at WinCo.

The Central Farmers' Market is located at 8th & W St Sacramento, CA 95815. The market and CalFresh booth are open from 8am-12pm. The market is located on 8th & W St. under the US-50/I-5 freeway. The CalFresh Booth is located at the east end of the market (right next to the customer parking lot) and is easily spotted with the bright green tent and Alchemist CDC/CalFresh signage. There is parking around the market, and there are portable restrooms on site. This is our busiest weekend market and second busiest market overall, and is in regular need of multiple volunteers.

Park at the Capitol and 19th by the funeral home. Free parking is available in the parking garage on 20th & L for staff & volunteers. There is paid parking in the lot next to Roscoe’s Bar & Grill that you can access from 21st St. If biking, there is a bike valet on K St right beside Faces. The closest restrooms are at LowBrau or Portable Restrooms near parking structure on 20th and L St.
